Fundanet Site CTMS 2025.1 (Release Date – January 21, 2025)

These release notes summarize the latest improvements and features introduced in version 2025.1 of Fundanet CTMS. This update aims to enhance user experience and provide more robust tools for achieving your goals. Budget Management

  • Define Cycles
    Designed specifically for oncological trials, we’ve introduced a feature that allows users to define treatment cycles. This improvement enhances organization and tracking, making it easier to manage participant schedules and financial allocations, while ensuring smoother coordination across teams.

  • Include Stipends
    Stipends (visit expenses) can now be included in invoice claims. This feature enhances financial transparency by accounting for all associated costs.

  • Invoice Claim Filters
    New filters have been added to the invoice claim creation process, allowing for better categorization. This improvement makes it easier for users to organize and manage invoices, saving time and reducing errors, while ensuring a smoother and more efficient workflow.

Security Enhancements

  • Advanced Permissions
    We’ve made improvements to increase the granularity of user permissions. This means administrators now have more precise control over what actions users can perform, enhancing the overall security of the system while allowing for better customization of access levels.

User Interface Improvements

  • Column Filters
    Multi-select filters are now available directly in grid column headers, providing users with a more intuitive and streamlined data filtering experience. This feature simplifies data management, making it faster and easier to find and organize the information you need.
  • Tooltip Additions
    Tooltips have been added to various dashboard elements, giving users quick and accessible information at a glance. This improvement helps users navigate the system more efficiently and understand features without the need for additional support.
  • Contract Toolbar Improvements
    The Operations menu in the contract toolbar now displays contextually relevant actions for easier navigation.

Scheduling Enhancements

  • Participant Scheduling
    Improved features allow users to view visit windows and reschedule appointments easily, ensuring better time management.
  • Visit Notes
    Users can now add detailed notes to visits, making it easier to maintain a comprehensive record of participant schedules. This improvement enhances teamwork and collaboration by ensuring all team members have access to the same up-to-date and detailed information, streamlining communication and coordination.
  • Calendar Time Slots
    Time slots are now displayed in the calendar, providing users with a clearer overview of availability and scheduled activities. This improvement helps users better plan their time, avoid conflicts, and coordinate more effectively with their teams.

Clinical Trial Management

  • Clinical Study Import
    Users can now import clinical studies directly from ClinicalTrials.gov, simplifying the onboarding process. This feature reduces manual data entry, saves time, and ensures accuracy by pulling reliable information directly from a trusted source, allowing users to focus more on managing their studies efficiently.
  • Stakeholder Permissions
    Stakeholders can now be linked directly to clinical trials with granular access levels.
  • Custom Field Exports
    Users can include custom fields when exporting clinical trial data, ensuring flexibility and precision in reporting.
  • Pre-start Visit Dates
    A new "Pre-start Visit Date" field has been introduced, helping managers plan trials more effectively.

  • Export Formats
    Reports can now be exported in multiple formats (PDF, Excel, CSV), ensuring seamless integration with external tools.

  • Advanced Export for People Grid
    The People grid now supports advanced export options, ensuring detailed and accurate data extraction.

    Users will receive warning messages when creating clinical trial elements that could result in adverse events, ensuring preventative action.
