New Features & Enhancements
Tooltips for Clinical Trial Fields
To improve usability and reduce the need for user support, descriptive tooltips have been added to relevant fields within the clinical trial form and its Insights pane. These tooltips provide brief explanations to help users enter data accurately. Tooltips appear when hovering over field labels and are available in multiple languages based on the user’s selected language.
Improved Study Details Page Navigation
The toolbar on the study details page has been reorganized to improve clarity and accessibility:
- Change Status remains a standalone button.
- Create dropdown menu: Allows users to create new Participants, Contracts, and Invoices linked to the study.
- Export dropdown menu: Offers advanced export options to Excel and CSV.
Contracts Page Enhancements
- The Remarks field now spans two columns for improved readability.
- The Operations Menu is now hidden when no operations are available.
Advanced Filtering for Clinical Trials
- Users can now filter clinical trials by Research Unit for easier data retrieval.
Security and Permissions Updates
We continue to enhance the granularity of user permissions, allowing administrators to define more precise access controls for different features within the system.
- Study Financial Summary Access: Viewing rights can now be restricted based on user roles.
- Screening Permissions: Admins can now configure which roles are allowed to add screenings
Calendar Enhancements
- Users can now toggle between "Visits" and "Procedures" views.
- Filters are available for visit state and procedure type.
- Users can save and reuse filter settings.
Access Control Icon Consolidation
The two separate icons indicating user access have been unified into a single icon with three color variations:
- Gray: No user account.
- Blue: User account exists but lacks clinical trial access.
- Green: User has both an account and access to the clinical trial.
Bulk Operations for Participant’s Schedule
The participant’s schedule grid is now multiselectable, so that users can check severak rows in the grid at once. When multiple visits are selected, the following bulk operations are available:
- Delete visits.
- Add unplanned procedures.
- Change the state of visits.
Enhanced Filtering
To accommodate varying user roles, the participants, contracts, and invoice proposal grids now include additional columns to enhance filtering, searching, and sorting by different study identifiers. Depending on the user's role, they may need to search by different study codes:
- Study ID
- Study Title
- Study Acronym
- Protocol Code
These columns are hidden by default but can be accessed via the column chooser, allowing users to select the identifier most relevant to them.
