These release notes summarize the latest improvements and features introduced in version 2025.5 of Fundanet CTMS.

New Features & Enhancements

Update to the Billing Matrix screen

In this new version, we’ve made a comprehensive improvement to the Billing Matrix screen, with the goal of optimizing the user experience, enhancing control over data visibility, and simplifying data entry.

The main change is a complete redesign of the screen layout. The previous version presented several usability challenges, such as unstable inline editing, multiple scrollbars, and automatic refreshes that disrupted user workflows. To address these issues, we’ve redesigned the screen to provide a cleaner, more organized, and more stable structure. Treatment cycles, standalone visits, and procedures are now displayed in a more user-friendly way, allowing for smoother navigation and editing.

We’ve also introduced a new permissions system that allows column visibility to be tailored to each user role. This functionality responds to the needs of certain research centers where, for example, clinical research coordinators should not have access to financial data. With this update, system administrators can control which columns are visible for each user profile, reducing clutter and ensuring sensitive or irrelevant information is hidden. Finally, we’ve enhanced the budget import process via Excel. Previously, the import template was only available in Spanish. With this update, templates are now provided in all the languages supported by the platform, making it easier to work in multilingual environments and ensuring greater consistency in data entry.
