Fundanet Site CTMS 2025.9

Release Date: September 23, 2025

We're excited to announce the release of CTMS version 2025.9, packed with new features, improvements, and important bug fixes to enhance your clinical trial management experience.

New Features

Improvements in Participant Profile Usability and Information

The participant profile interface has been optimized through the addition of visual aids. When hovering over form field labels, a brief description will appear, providing context and additional details. This improvement aims to simplify data comprehension and enhance navigation efficiency, allowing users to access information more quickly and accurately. The content of these tooltips is available in the user’s preferred language, ensuring a consistent and clear experience.

Enhancements in Procedure Management

We have optimized the management of procedures when configuring the billing matrix. Now, when accessing the selection screen to add procedures, the list is automatically displayed in alphabetical order, simplifying the search process and reducing setup time.

Additionally, users can reorder the list in ascending or descending order by clicking on the column header. This functionality provides greater flexibility and control over data visualization, enabling users to quickly locate the procedures they need.

New Informed Consent Management Module

We have launched a new module designed to optimize the management of participants’ informed consents in clinical studies. This feature allows centralized recording of which version of consent each participant has signed, along with the corresponding date.

The module helps ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining an accurate and auditable record of all signatures. It also provides access to each participant’s full consent history, guaranteeing full control over their authorization for study activities.

Billing Matrix – Economic Name

To ensure economic information meets billing requirements without affecting users with a clinical focus, each visit in the billing matrix now includes two separate fields for improved clarity and traceability:

  • Clinical Name: Explanatory text displayed in the clinical calendar and participant’s schedule.
  • Economic Description: Descriptive name used in the pre-invoice.

To avoid duplicate work when entering a billing matrix, if only one field is filled in, the system automatically populates the other with the same value.

Report Generation

A new Reports section has been added to the study list toolbar, allowing users to access predefined reports.

  • New Pending Billing Report: Enables export of a complete summary of amounts pending billing for each clinical study. The report automatically calculates pending amounts by considering all visits and procedures marked as completed but not yet included in pre-invoices.
This report can be generated for one or multiple studies, including for each:
    • Study identification data
    • Date of the last pre-invoice issued
    • Total amount pending billing

This report facilitates monitoring and control of pending billing, providing a clear, consolidated view of the financial status of all clinical studies.
